Dedicated to Erney

This is my first time reviewing the site. Sadly all of us have something in common, a family member or friend who has or had an addiction problem. My brother, Erney was only 36 years old when he died, probably from an over dose, but doctors were kind and sensitive to the “D” word. In the southern baptist belt in the 1990’s a preacher or minister would not even want to provide a memorial service to such a family. If you have one person that has a problem, the entire family is labeled and judged. My brother had a beautiful spirit, I even named my son after him. He tried to keep our family separated from his problems and he never married. My parents suffered at lot, sometimes he would be gone for long periods of time. We never knew what to expect. Love to all families who have suffered such a loss and we are not the blame. There is a void in our space and we miss our dear brother deeply.
